Guwahati to Day wise Assam Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Guwahati – KazirangaNational Park

Pickup from the Guwahati Airport or the Railway station. Meet our expert tour guide driver. Later, journey to Kaziranga (220 K/M – 5 hrs). The Park is known as the World’s heritage site. It is a famous for its one-Horned Rhinos and Tigers. En route, visit Tea garden and local cities. Overnight stay in the Hotel Kaziranga.

Day 2: Kaziranga Jungle Safari

Early in the morning at 4.30 A.M, take an Elephant ride in Kohora or Bagori range. After breakfast, visit Kaziranga orchids Park. In the afternoon, 1.30 P.M, take a Jeep Safari. In the evening, enjoy the local cultural show. Overnight stay in the Kaziranga National Park.

Day 3: Kaziranga – Jorhat

After breakfast, proceed to Jorhat (70 K/M – 3 hrs). The city is known as the Tea capital of Assam. En route, visit the oldest Tea estates, Gymkhana club, and the local market. Overnight stay in the Jorhat Hotel.

Day 4: Jorhat – Majuli Island

After breakfast, proceed to Majuli from Nimatighat ferry point. The island is known as the World’s largest River line. En route, see the Brahmaputra river landscape and nearby attractions. Later, explore the oldest Hindu satars, Mishing tribal village and the local market. Overnight stay in the Majuli Home-stay.

Day 5: Majuli – Sivasagar

After breakfast, proceed to Sivasagar (70 K/M – 3 hrs). This place is famous for its Ahom monuments. En route, top places to visit such as, Rang Ghar, Kareng Ghar, Talatal palace, Joysagar Tank and Shivadol temple. Overnight stay in the Sivasagar Hotel.

Day 6: Sivasagar – Tezpur

After breakfast, proceed to Tezpur (200 K/M – 4hrs). The city is famous for heritage places. En route, visit Aganigarh Hills, Cold Park, Sri Sri Mahabhairab Temple and Tezpur local market. Overnight stay in the Hotel.

Day 7: Tezpur – Guwahati

After breakfast, proceed to Guwahati (190 K/M – 3 hrs). The city is famous for its oldest temple. En route, visit Maa Kamakhya Temple, Shankar Dev Kalakshetra, and fancy market. In the evening, take a Sun Set cruise on the mighty Brahmaputra River. Overnight stay in the Guwahati.

Day 8: Guwahati Airport

After breakfast, transfer to Guwahati Airport.
